Tibet Mountain Handbook

The Tibetan Mountaineering School (TMS) in Lhasa offers it’s students an elite education and training program in language (Chinese, Tibetan, English); mountain expedition and guide training for employment and expertise in the mountaineering sector unique to Tibet. As a result of its strong education focus the creation of the ‘TMS’s Mountaineering Glossary Booklet’ aims to provide improved language training through standardization of vocabulary relating to – mountains; mountain culture; mountaineering and climbing activities.
